Meet Our People
Debra Honea Naquin
Dental TechnicianDebra began her career working as a technician in a commercial dental laboratory, and opened her own lab in Mississippi in 1986 after receiving her certification in Ceramics in 1983. There she served and chaired several boards and committees in governing associations promoting skills, standards and continuing education, including holding the Presidency of the Mississippi Dental Laboratory Association and serving as a Commissioner on Dental Accreditation with the American Dental Association. Closing her lab in 2005 she settled in Baton Rouge overseeing operations in Dr. Appleton’s in house laboratory.
“I enjoy working hands-on with each and every patient. The patient receives a level of skill and expertise that is usually not available in a dental office. With an in-house lab each restoration is customized to the patient for the ultimate final result.”
